SERVE Day 10.21.17

“Serve one another humbly in love.”

Galatians 5:13

What is SERVE Day?
SERVE Day is an outreach event that provides an amazing opportunity to bless and be blessed. Together, as a church, we will go out into our community and show the love of Christ in real and tangible ways. Simple acts of personal kindness can open hearts to the love of Jesus for both those being served and those serving. It is our goal to have 100% participation from our church family!

Our community is full of needs. There are countless opportunities and ways for us to reach out to those around us; we simply have to open our eyes. We have to train ourselves to see our community through a new perspective, “What can we do to serve those around us?” The opportunities are endless, we just have to pause and notice them.

Interested in Leading a Project?
Find a Need
Things to Consider: Our goal is to reach those around us. Ask yourself these questions when identifying a project idea:
* What can we do to SERVE those in our community?
* Can we meet the need with our resources, volunteers, and time?
* Does my idea/goal reach “more” people (quantity) or allow more “one-on-one” (quality) interaction with your target SERVE group? (Either is fine but identifying which one is key for success)
* Is it voluntary friendly?
* Are you showing Christ’s love?

T-Shirts are available for order after both services on Sunday mornings. Check our weekly bulletin for announcements about projects being posted for volunteer sign-up. Pray for this event daily!
