GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. Please join us beginning February 1. The registration fee is $15 (includes the workbook) and will be collected at the first meeting. Former participants from any other GriefShare Group are welcome to attend any or all sessions for free. If you have questions, please contact Alicia Hovies (615) 804-2585.
The Children’s Ministry Service Project for January and February will be helping the Compassionate Hands Homeless Ministry.
Each week, children who participate in W.O.W. (Worship Our Way) Services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. can give a monetary offering to purchase items and help pack goody bags for the homeless women who stay at our Church on Wednesday evenings. The children will pack a toiletry bag to give the women when they arrive and a snack bag they can take with them when the leave.
The Compassionate Hands Homeless Ministry serves the homeless community during the cold winter months. Our Church currently serves between 5-15 homeless women each week on Wednesday evenings.
